My work has appeared in The New York Times, the Sunday Telegraph, Prospect, and the mental wellness quarterly, Planet Mindful. This year, an essay about my father’s half-brother I wrote for The New York Times will appear in In the New Century: An Anthology of Pakistani English Literature 1998-2017 edited by Muneeza Shamsie. Another essay, about the power of a good meal, A Year of Scrambled Egg, was just published in Lecker, a magazine curated by the audio producer Lucy Dearlove.
I'm a contributing writer for the celebrated east London blog Spitalfields Life, where I've written about Whitechapel, east end curry chefs, and the St Joseph's Hospice choir, among other subject.
